The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs today condemned the Israeli police storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and breaking into Al-Qibli prayer hall, as well as the arrest of hundreds of Palestinians, and violating the sanctity of Al-Haram Al-Sharif (the Noble Sanctuary), and the current historical status quo at the Muslim holy site.
It said in a statement that these attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan are not acceptable in any way.
It expressed its deep concern about the escalation that spread to the region, especially Gaza.
