‘Israel’ targeted the Qurs al-Nafi site located in Quneitra, Syria West of the town of Hader with about 12 shells, on Monday dawn, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.
The correspondent pointed out that the bombardment of the forested area in northern Quneitra did not cause any casualties.
Israeli media claimed that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) shelled a military facility in Quneitra with artillery rounds.
‘Israel’ has repeatedly attacked Syrian civilian-populated urban areas and villages, including the attacks on the countryside of Quneitra. The Syrian air defenses have been on full alert, constantly responding to Israeli aggression country.
Syrian air defenses previously intercepted Israeli rockets that targeted the south of the Syrian capital, Damascus in late March.
That attack came less than 24 hours after SANA reported on Thursday that two Syrian army personnel were injured due to Israeli airstrikes that targeted some sites in the vicinity of Damascus.
It is worth noting that the Syrian city of Quneitra was declared completely free of the presence of terrorist forces in 2018 after the efforts of the Syrian Arab Army and its allies thwarted the Western project in Syria.
