Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed the participants in the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom Central Asia”, according to a statement published on the Kremlin website today, Tuesday.
“Dear friends! I welcome you on the occasion of the opening of the international industrial exhibition “Innoprom Central Asia”. Central Asia has the richest natural resources, huge human potential and the regional processes of economic cooperation show very high dynamics,” the statement read.
The Russian President indicated that the most indicative indicator of the development of interaction between the countries hosting the event (Russia and Uzbekistan) is the increase in bilateral trade by more than a quarter in the past year.
Putin expressed his confidence that the participants in the exhibition will be able to exchange experiences, discuss topical issues of trade, economic, industrial and investment cooperation, outline joint projects of mutual benefit and establish new partnerships.
Yesterday, Monday, the “Innoprom Central Asia” exhibition was opened in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. The event will last for three days. More than 300 companies from Russia, Uzbekistan and other CIS countries will participate in the exhibition.
