Speaking at the Russia-China Business Forum in Shanghai on Tuesday, the prime minister said the new conditions open up opportunities not only for expanding the presence of Chinese companies in Russia, but also for launching production facilities in China.
Mishustin added that the areas of cooperation between Russia and China may include:

As an indication of the importance of economic cooperation between Russia and China, the Russian prime minister revealed that Russia ranks first in oil supplies to China, and that exports of natural and liquefied gas and coal are on the rise.
All agreements related to the nuclear energy industry and the establishment of Russian-designed reactors are being implemented, and he stressed that Russia is ready to participate in the implementation of major projects, including in the field of renewable energy sources.
“Russian farmers are ready to significantly increase the export of their products to the Chinese market and expand the range of supplied products of plant and animal origin,” said Mishustin.
According to Mishustin, sales of agricultural products increased in 2022 by 42%, to exceed $7 billion, and in the first quarter of this year, the growth of agricultural products exceeded 90%.
