The EU has supplied Kiev with 220,000 artillery ammunition and 1,300 missiles since the start of the war, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell revealed today.
Today, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that NATO is not assessing the possibility of a nuclear war rationally; events can unfold unpredictably and escalate past the point of no return will be, and the responsibility for the implications will be on NATO, he added.
“Otherwise, NATO would not have supplied such dangerous weapons to the Ukrainian regime. So, apparently, they believe that a nuclear conflict, or a nuclear apocalypse, is impossible because it is never possible,” Medvedev told the RT broadcaster.

“The latest figures actually are much better than we had just some ten days ago because I can announce today that member states have provided 220,000 artillery ammunition of different calibers and 1,300 missiles have been provided [to Ukraine].”
Earlier today Russian authorities reported that drones targeted Russia’s border region of Belgorod where security operations pressed into a second day after a cross-border infiltration by a Ukrainian sabotage group.
The region, which borders Ukraine, has been repeatedly shelled in attacks that have killed dozens of people since the start of the war in Ukraine last year.
Several drones struck houses and a government building overnight but did not result in casualties or deaths, Vyacheslav Gladkov, Belgorod governor, wrote on Telegram.
On Monday, Gladkov confirmed that a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group infiltrated the territory of the Grayvoronsky district of Russia’s Belgorod region, adding that “the armed forces of Russia, together with the border service, the Russian Guard, and the FSB, are taking the necessary measures to eliminate the enemy.”
Russia said its troops were battling the sabotage group that entered from Ukraine and introduced an anti-terror regime in Belgorod.
