Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiago Ono, revealed that his country is about to launch the “Golden Visa” program, and said that the program is in its final stage.
To obtain a “golden visa”, foreign nationals visiting Indonesia must meet a number of criteria and have sufficient funds in their accounts.
The visa will be issued for a period of five to ten years to foreigners who meet the required conditions.
The Indonesian minister expressed hope that the new type of visa would help attract “reliable tourists” to Indonesia, especially Bali. The Minister believes that this entry permit will be of interest to foreign investors.
