The Russian Federation announced that nine drones were destroyed over its territories, reaffirming that such incidents have become a daily routine.
In what has become a daily routine, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that it had destroyed a Ukrainian drone earlier on Sunday, over the Bryansk region.
Before that, the Ministry said that “On September 10, at about 08.30 [05:30 GMT], an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack by a fixed-wing drone against objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted,” adding that “the unmanned aerial vehicle destroyed in mid-air.”
On September 1st, the Russian Defense Ministry revealed three attempted drone attacks by Kiev on eastern regions in Russia, two of which were thwarted.
The Ministry of Defense and Moscow Mayor announced, at the time, that the Ukraine drone attack that targeted Moscow was thwarted. “This morning, air defense forces thwarted yet another attempt of the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on the territory of the Russian Federation using an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
“Today, air defense forces near Lyubertsy thwarted another attempt by a drone to fly to Moscow. Preliminarily, there were no casualties or damage. Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident,” Moscow Mayor said.
On his part, the Kursk regional governor reported damage in an administrative building and a residential building after the drone attack.
“In the morning, two Ukrainian drones attacked Kurchatov. An administrative building and a residential building were damaged. Experts… are assessing the extent of the damage. Details are being specified,” Kursk Governor Roman Starovoit said on Telegram.
In another statement, the Ministry of Defense announced that another drone attack was thwarted in Belgorod.
