Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the formation of the federal budget for 2024 and planning for 2025 and 2026.
At the beginning of his speech, President Putin stressed that “the recovery phase of the Russian economy is over and that Russia has withstood the pressure of sanctions.”
“GDP growth at year-end results can reach between 2.5% and 2.8%,” Putin explained.
“Russia’s GDP has reached the level of 2021, and it is now important to create conditions for further stable long-term development,” Putin noted.
