The British capital of London witnessed a massive rally this evening, with tens of thousands of Britons taking to the streets in central London in solidarity with the Palestinian people, currently facing an Israeli genocidal aggression, especially in Gaza.
The protest commenced at the Marble Arch and culminated at the British Parliament Square, featuring the participation of over 100,000 demonstrators, according to the British police.
Protesters raised Palestinian flags and chanted slogans such as “Free Palestine.” They carried placards and banners with messages written in both Arabic and English, including “Stop the Genocide” and “End the War on Gaza.”
Today’s march was organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, along with Friends of Al-Aqsa, Stop the War Coalition, Muslim Association of Britain, Palestinian Forum in Britain and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
Other pro-Palestinian rallies have also taken place in Rome, Sydney, Washington, D.C., Amman, Beirut and right across Muslim-majority countries like Morocco, Turkey, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
