Mustafa Shehadeh, a released Palestinian prisoner, told Al Jazeera that the prison conditions worsened following the October 7 attacks.
Shehadeh, who spent eight months in prison, said that after the start of the war, the treatment he received became worse and prisoners were cut off from the outside world.
“They started body searches and took all our machinery, even the shavers,” Shehadeh said. “They even deprived us of daily breaks.”
Shehadeh added that he saw an inmate with high fever who was not attended to.
