Saudi Islamic Minister Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Asheikh on Sunday received Ambassador of Syria to the Kingdom Ayman Soussan at the ministry’s headquarters.
During the meeting, Al-Asheikh stressed that the Kingdom works to strengthen the bonds between Muslims and protect the Islamic identity from extremist ideas that oppose Islam’s message of tolerance.
Meanwhile, the Syrian ambassador commended the leadership’s efforts to serve Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, along with the significant development of services to help them perform their pilgrimages with ease and comfort.
