The Argentina Committee for Solidarity with the Palestinian People, in cooperation with a number of social and political organizations, today organized a vehicle and bicycle march in the capital, Buenos Aires, denouncing the brutal Israeli aggression in Gaza.
Among those who participated the march were many leaders and activists of human rights organizations, trade unions, and civil society institutions.
The demonstrators in Argentina denounced the ongoing genocide committed by Israeli occupation forces, particularly in the Gaza Strip. They also strongly condemned the statements made by President Javier Miley regarding his intention to move the country’s embassy to the occupied Jerusalem.
The march, entitled “Free Palestine and Free from Apartheid,” began in front of the Argentine Obelisk on 9 Julio Street, all the way to the Congress Building.
The participants raised Palestinian and Argentine flags, and banners bearing slogans denouncing genocide and the killing of children and civilians, rejecting the transfer of the Argentine embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and others demanding an immediate ceasefire and holding Israel accountable for its horrific crimes.
