Jordan’s minister of government communications has praised Jordanian-Saudi cooperation on the Palestinian cause.
In an interview with the Saudi Press Agency, Muhannad Mubaidin said that good relations between the two countries is based on the leadership of King Salman and King Abdullah II.
Mubaidin highlighted the consistent collaboration between Jordan and Saudi Arabia in addressing key issues such as Arab unity.
He expressed gratitude toward Saudi Arabia for its unwavering support to Jordan during economic challenges and for backing Jordan’s stance on Palestine.
The minister said that a ministerial committee established by the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit held in Riyadh is ensuring aid delivery to Gaza.
The foreign ministers of Jordan and Saudi Arabia are also encouraging the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, he added.
Mubaidin said that Saudi Media Minister Salman Al-Dosari will soon visit Jordan coordination Arab efforts on relations with international media companies.
