During the meeting, Shtayyeh said the Palestinian people have been suffering for more than 75 years, facing murder, detentions, colonial expansion, land seizure and attacks by the occupation army and colonists.
Shtayyeh added that Israel deprives the Palestinian people of their right to life through killings and the committing of genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip.
He affirmed that Israel also deprives the Palestinian people of one of the most basic rights; which is the right to obtain the basic needs of food, medicine, treatment, water and electricity.
Shtayyeh stressed that Europe must punish Israel for its crimes against the Palestinian people.
The Prime Minister stressed that statements are not enough, urging that actual steps must be taken on the ground by imposing sanctions on colonies and their components in the West Bank.
He also called for imposing sanctions against colonists and companies operating in colonies and their products.
Shtayyeh affirmed that the world must recognize the State of Palestine and its full membership in the United Nations, and create a political horizon within a multilateral international framework that works to end the occupation and embody the establishment of the Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with Jerusalem as its capital.
