The increase of gas supplies to Russia over the TurkStream pipeline is possible, Peter Szijjarto noted
SIRIUS /Federal Territory/, March 25. /TASS/. Hungary does not require transit of Russian gas via Ukraine because supplies are coming over the TurkStream gas pipeline, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told reporters.
“It has no significance for us, given the fact that the gas supply to Hungary is coming from the Turkish Stream. I think it was a great decision on our behalf together with Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey to build the Turkish Stream pipeline. Now it provides for security of our gas supplies, so we do not need the transit via Ukraine. It does not matter in fact for us how Ukraine will decide on the transit of Russian gas,” the minister said.
