Hezbollah, Hamas successful against IOF’s weak point: Israeli expert
Nasrallah and Hamas have repeatedly targeted Israeli occupation forces’ weak points, hitting the occupation’s “soft flank”, Amir Bohbot, the military correspondent for the Israeli Walla! news website explained on May 7.
The analyst made the remark following a series of successful operations, launched from South Lebanon and the Gaza Strip by Hezbollah and al-Qassam Brigades respectively, dealing heavy human casualties to the Israeli military.
Specifically, Bohbot referenced al-Qassam’s short-range rocket attack that killed 4 Israeli soldiers in an Israeli site near Karem Abu Salem, injuring multiple others, and a Hezbollah drone attack that killed two Israeli military officers Metulla.
As for the operation launched by al-Qassam fighters on a newly set up Israeli site in the Karem Abu Salem crossing, Bohbot said that the attack was preceded by a clear warning by Israeli intelligence agencies.
According to the correspondent, Israeli intelligence warned the occupation’s forces of an imminent attack on troops from Rafah in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, due to the heavy concentration of forces outside the city.
However, the troops remained positioned in the area and were dealt an inevitable strike, in a multi-faceted strike.
