President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto stressed on Saturday the importance of cooperation and coordination among African countries in supporting efforts towards achieving stability, security, and development for all African peoples.
This came during a phone call between the two presidents, where they discussed several issues in the African arena and explored ways to address continental challenges.
They agreed to continue intensive consultations on all issues of mutual concern in the coming period.
According to a statement from the Egyptian presidency, El-Sisi and Ruto also discussed bilateral relations and underscored the close ties between both peoples.
Furthermore, they expressed their desire to advance cooperation across all fields and promote relations to serve the interests of both nations.
The statement said this emanates from their commitment to maintaining the ongoing coordination pattern, effective roles in the African continent, and historical relations.
