Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has congratulated Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on his recent appointment as Iran’s new Foreign Minister.
The congratulatory message was conveyed during a telephone conversation, where Sheikh Abdullah expressed his best wishes for Araghchi’s success in his new role.
During the call, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE’s strong interest in continuing to develop bilateral relations and enhance regional cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He stressed the importance of further expanding the cooperation between Tehran and Abu Dhabi in this new era.
In response, Araghchi expressed his gratitude for the warm wishes and extended congratulations to Sheikh Abdullah on his recent appointment as Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE. He also wished Sheikh Abdullah success in his new responsibilities.
Both ministers exchanged invitations for official visits to Tehran and Abu Dhabi, underscoring the importance of ongoing dialogue and collaboration.
The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations in areas such as economic cooperation, consular and security matters, as well as strengthening regional partnerships.
