Fahad Al-Muwallad, a key player for the Saudi national team and Al-Shabab FC, is currently in intensive care at Rashid Hospital in Dubai following an accidental fall at his residence.
Al-Shabab FC announced that Al-Muwallad was transported to a hospital in Dubai for appropriate treatment after experiencing a health emergency during a brief vacation in the city. This occurred after his participation with the Saudi national team in recent matches against Indonesia and China in the 2026 Asian Cup qualifiers.
The Saudi star reportedly fell from the balcony of his second-floor apartment in Dubai early Thursday morning, between 9 and 10 a.m., and was rushed to the hospital with multiple fractures, according to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper. Efforts are underway to review street and home security footage to determine the cause of the accident.
At the time of the incident, Al-Muwallad was alone at home, as his friends had left three hours prior, according to Saudi sources.
