The stock of Trump Media, owned by former U.S. President Donald Trump, surged by 17% on Monday, continuing its upward trajectory as Trump’s chances of winning the U.S. presidential election increase.
The gains for Trump Media & Technology Group, in which Trump holds a 57% stake, accelerated after reports that U.S. Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris agreed to an interview with Fox News.
Trump’s odds of winning the U.S. presidential election, scheduled for November 5, have risen on betting platforms over the past few days.
Last week, Trump Media’s stock soared by 53%, recovering much of its previous losses in recent months.
