In a recent interview with Joe Rogan on the Autism Capital platform, Elon Musk issued a stark warning about the future of American democracy, describing the upcoming election as a “crossroads of fate.” Musk stated, “If we don’t elect Trump, we’ll lose democracy in this country and the two-party system.”
Musk emphasized the critical role of swing states, noting, “Only six or seven swing states matter, with winning margins often between 10,000 to 20,000 votes.” He alleged that the Democratic Party is “bringing in large numbers of undocumented immigrants into swing states,” suggesting this could permanently turn these states Democratic.
“If you add enough illegal voters to a state with a narrow margin, it won’t be a swing state anymore. It’ll be a blue state, and at that point, it’s not an election—it’s just a Democratic election,” he explained.
Pointing to California as an example, Musk stated, “If you need proof of what’s happening, look at California. A friend tried to show ID to vote, and they acted like he held up a cross to a vampire. They don’t even allow checking IDs. There’s no reason for this other than cheating.”
Musk went on to describe the upcoming election as “America’s last chance to save democracy,” urging voters to “vote like their lives depend on it,” asserting that this may be “the last real election in America.”
This latest commentary from Musk highlights his deep concerns over political changes in the U.S. and the future of the democratic process in swing states and beyond.
