A high-level Qatari delegation arrived in Damascus on Monday, marking the first visit in 13 years,
where they held meetings with Syrian officials to discuss ongoing and future transitional
arrangements.
It is worth noting that the new Syrian administration leader, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and the head of the
transitional (interim) government, Mohammed al-Bashir, have conducted several meetings with
Arab and Western ministers and officials to discuss the transitional situation in Syria and future
steps.
This development in Syrian-Qatari relations could signal a new era of cooperation and support,
potentially influencing the broader Middle Eastern geopolitical landscape.
