Syrian Foreign Minister: We Have Shaped a National Identity Reflecting the Aspirations of Our People
Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaybani has emphasized that Syria has successfully defined a national identity that not only reflects the aspirations of its people but also establishes a state based on the principles of freedom, justice, and dignity. Al-Shaybani highlighted that this identity instills a sense of belonging and sacrifice among all citizens for the homeland.
During the Victory Conference, Al-Shaabani explained that Syria’s foreign policy is multi-dimensional, aiming to reassure the international community, clarify its vision on regional issues, and strengthen relations with friendly countries. This approach reflects the true will of the Syrian people both domestically and internationally.
The Foreign Minister further elucidated that Syrian foreign policy is built on creating a regional and
international environment based on mutual cooperation and respect, alongside enhancing strategic
partnerships with countries sharing Syria’s vision for stability and development.
Regarding Syria’s regional role, Al-Shaabani stressed that the Arab region is burdened with conflicts, necessitating efforts to reduce tensions through constructive diplomatic approaches. He underscored Syria’s commitment to playing an active role in promoting stability and peace in the region, guided by a vision of future dialogue and understanding.
