President Mahmoud Abbas received today an invitation from Jordan’s King, Abdullah II, his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, to attend the emergency conference on Gaza humanitarian response set to be held in Jordan.
This came during a meeting held today at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah with the Jordanian Ambassador to Palestine, Essam Al Badour, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine, Ihab Suleiman.
President Abbas welcomed the honorable invitation to attend this important international conference on the humanitarian response for the Palestinian people in Gaza who are being subjected to genocide and starvation by the Israeli occupation.
