UNICEF announced it will not be able to resume its operations to support the children of Palestine due to a severe budget deficit, revealing that “Israel” targeted more than 200 nurseries in its recent war on Gaza.
“Israel” is a childhood killer
UNICEF revealed that “Israel” killed 9 Palestinian children during May and July of this year and wounded more than 550 others using live ammunition and rubber bullets.
UNICEF has also warned that it will not be able to resume its operations to support the children of Palestine due to a severe budget deficit.
It also pointed out that “Israel”, in its recent war on Gaza, targeted more than 200 nurseries and schools, including UNRWA schools.
Last May, UNICEF revealed that the heavy Israeli bombing of Gaza put a number of children under the rubble, where they remained for hours before being pulled out.
Mass destruction
UNRWA reported the destruction of at least 50 educational facilities, 20 health facilities, and about 50% of the water supply network, and warned that about 800,000 people do not have access to piped water. The reason is that groundwater wells, reservoirs, desalination plants, sewage infrastructure, water supply networks, and pumping stations were severely damaged, exposing children to the risk of water-borne diseases.
