Oil prices fell, in trading today, Wednesday, amid a state of anticipation in the markets for the US Energy Information Administration report on US crude inventories.
And by 09:35 Moscow time, US crude futures fell by 0.52% to $80.44 a barrel, while Brent crude futures fell by 0.50% to $84.35 a barrel.
Yesterday, US crude contracts closed trading at $80.86 a barrel, and Brent crude contracts at $84.77 a barrel.
On Tuesday, prices received support after sources quoted by the American Petroleum Institute that US crude stocks fell by about 2.68 million barrels in the week ending April 14.
An official report on black gold stocks is expected from the Energy Information Administration (official data) later today, Wednesday.
