Hundreds of Britons demonstrate outside the Israeli embassy in London protesting the latest Israeli crimes against the Palestinians in Jenin.
Hundreds of Britons demonstrated outside the Israeli embassy in London on Wednesday, in support of the people of Jenin camp and in denunciation of Israeli crimes against the Palestinians and the British policies in support of “Israel”.
The demonstration, which was organized by the Palestinian Forum in partnership with a number of institutions supporting Palestinian rights, as well as the Islamic League in Britain and the Stop the War coalition, was attended by a large number of representatives of trade unions and solidarity institutions.
The spokeswoman for the Muslim League in Britain, Raghad Al-Tikriti, condemned the British government of Rishi Sunak for passing a bill that shields “Israel” from accountability for its crimes.
Former head of the Labor Party Jeremy Corbyn condemned the Israeli aggression, adding that what is occurring in Jenin is against all international laws.
A few days ago, Corbyn saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the Jenin camp, who are standing up to the Israeli occupation’s brutal attacks.
Likewise, the head of the Palestinian Forum in Britain, Zaher Birawi, condemned the Israeli attacks carried out by the occupation army, describing them as savage.
Birawi called on the international community to stop making excuses and justifications for the occupation and denounce its actions, hold it accountable for its crimes, and protect the Palestinian people.
He also called for the continuation of popular movements in support of Palestinian rights and to work in all possible legal ways to denounce the crimes of the occupation and support the people of Palestine.
Birawi added, “We must show our brothers and sisters in Jenin that we are ready to continue working to raise their banner and support their rights until the liberation of Palestine and the end of the Israeli occupation.”
The occupation forces withdrew under the bullets of the Jenin Resistance fighters, as Al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigade carried out a number of immense strikes and ambushes against the occupation forces during the battle.
On Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces officially announced the end of their brutal aggression in Jenin, which lasted for two consecutive days.
