Dr.Fayssal Mikdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, discussed with the Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Shri V. Muraleedharan, the existing cooperation and ways of developing it in accordance with the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.
This came Thursday during a meeting brought together Mikdad and V. Muraleedharan.
Mikdad voiced Syria’s appreciation for India’s principled stance refusing the terrorism and supporting the Syrian people in all harsh conditions they have experienced.
Minister Mikdad reiterated that Syria is looking forward for restoring the great role of India in the multi-polar world which is based on respecting the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their domestic affairs.
V. Muraleedharan, in turn, expressed happiness over the achievements made by the Syria in all domains along with overcoming these harsh years it has passed through, hailing the positive atmosphere inside the country and the whole region which has a significant role in restoring stability in all Syrian areas ,in addition to the reconstruction process.
