The Israeli occupation forces today installed an iron gate on the Halhoul bridge leading to the northern entrance to the southern West Bank city of Hebron, reported WAFA correspondent.
He said that the gate, which hampers the movement of people in and out of the most populated West Bank city, is part of the collective punishment Israel has decided to impose on Hebron following the shooting attack and killing of a settler earlier this week.
Israel, following the attack, imposed a strict military closure on the city and all the villages and towns of the governorate. Hundreds of people were stranded in the city or outside it for a long time.
