At least six people were killed when a school run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) was hit in al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, the UN refugee agency says.
“The school was hit during Israeli forces airstrikes and bombardment on the Gaza Strip,” UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said in a statement.
“At least 4,000 people have taken refuge in this UNRWA school-turned-shelter. They had and still have nowhere else to go.”
