A number of civilians were killed and others were injured tonight in a violent Israeli bombardment that targeted the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes in the vicinity of the hospital, which houses tens of thousands of wounded and displaced people, the majority of whom are children and women, killing a number of civilians and injuring many others.
The bombing caused serious damage to some hospital facilities, as well as panic among civilians seeking shelter there.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Health said in an update that the number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza had risen to 10,966.
Last month, Israeli warplanes bombed the Bapitst Hospital in Gaza killing nearly 500 civilians, including children, in what has been the most heinous massacre since the Israeli onslaught on the territory had started on October 7.
