Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeinah today said that the Israeli occupation government is escalating its all-out war against our people in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem, aiming to kill and displace as many Palestinians as possible.
In a press statement, Abu Rudeinah said Israel has moved its full-fledged aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza to the West Bank, where it killed and wounded today dozens of Palestinians, including 11 in Jenin alone, in addition to the hundreds of Palestinians being killed by Israel on a daily basis in Gaza.
He stressed that no matter what crimes Israel commits, “our people will remain steadfast on their homeland and will not leave, and just as our people in Gaza have been steadfast and thwarted the displacement plan, our people [in the West Bank] will remain steadfast on their homeland and will continue their struggle until the end of the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”
Abu Rudeinah called on the United States of America to oblige the Israeli occupation government to stop this comprehensive aggression against our people everywhere.
He questioned the position of the US administration regarding Israel’s right to defend itself, saying: “Is the bombing of Jenin and its camp with missiles and the killing of dozens of our people, including children and women, falls under the framework of self-defense, or is it a brutal aggression, genocide, murder and displacement?”
Abu Rudeinah called on the upcoming Arab and Islamic summits to take decisions commensurate with the scale of this Israeli aggression against our people and the scale of these crimes committed against them.
