The foreign minister of Iran called for the international community’s mounting pressures on the Zionist regime to stop its brutal strikes on the Gaza Strip.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto talked about the latest developments in West Asia, especially the dire situation in Palestine.
The top Iranian diplomat touched on the worsening humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip due to the Zionist regime’s heinous crimes, saying, “The regime has openly breached all human and international rights by bombing and mass murder of the people in the Gaza Strip.”
The international community should exert pressure in order to immediately stop the Zionist regime’s military aggression in Gaza, establish an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, and pave the way for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the people in Gaza, Amirabdollahian stated.
He also pointed to the growing trend in Iran-Hungary ties and said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to hold a joint commission between the two countries in Tehran.”
He added that constant consultations are definitely very constructive for the promotion of ties between the two countries.
For his part, the Hungarian foreign minister expounded on his country’s stances on the ongoing developments in Palestine.
He also expressed hope that the growing relations between Iran and Hungary would be maintained and elevated in all aspects.
More than 11,200 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.
