Russia has been trying hard to mediate in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Today, negotiations between the Russian FM and the heads of the diplomatic departments of several member countries, who represent the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, are taking place in Moscow.
As far we know, representatives of Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Palestine and Saudi Arabia are here, as well as the secretary general of the OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, and Qatari PM Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
They’re all here to try and solve the crisis in Gaza and discuss what needs to be done to stop the violence immediately.
