The Israel Occupation Forces said it detected rocket fire from Syria and responded by shelling the source of the fire.
“Some time ago, several launches were recorded from Syria toward Israel. The shells landed in an unpopulated area. In response, IOF artillery struck the sites from which the Syrian fire originated, while IOF tanks shelled a military post of the Syrian army,” the IOF said in a statement.
