The value of Greece’s imports from Russia totaled 2.446 bln euro, which is 73.8% less than during the period from January to December 2022
ATHENS, February 24. /TASS/. The trade balance between Greece and Russia was negative in 2023 and totaled 2,349 bln euro, the Hellenic statistical service Elstat said.
“The value of Greece’s imports from Russia totaled 2.446 bln euro, which is 73.8% less than during the period from January to December 2022 (9.334 bln euro). The value of Greek exports to Russia totaled 96.3 mln euro, which is 38.4% less than in the entire year of 2022 (156.4 mln euro). The trade balance of Greece and Russia was negative in January – December 2023; the deficit totaled 2.349 bln euro,” Elstat said, cited by the newmoney.gr news portal.
The trade balance of Greece and Russia was also negative last December and the deficit totaled 91.4 mln euro, the news outlet said. “Greece’s imports from Russia in December amounted to 98 mln euro, which was 88.7% smaller than in December 2022 (870.3 mln euro). Exports of Greece to Russia equaled 6.6 mln euro, which was 20.3% less than in December 2022 (8.3 mln euro),” the statistical service said.
