Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed with his Iraqi counterpart, Fouad Hussein, bilateral relations, the situation in the Arab region in general and Gaza in particular.
Eelier, Mikdad discussed with Secretary-General the Arab League, Ahmed Abu al-Gheit, the conditions and developments on the Arab and regional arenas.
The meetings come on the sidelines of the 161st session of the Arab League’s Council on the Ministerial level.
During the two meetings, Mikdad called for activating the Arab joint action and supporting the Arab central issues, on top, the Palestinian cause, ending the Israeli occupation of the Syrian Golan and halting the Israeli entity’s repeated attacks on Syrian territory.
