Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators on Friday gathered at Yemen’s Al-Sabeen Square in a show of solidarity with the people of Gaza and its movement of Resistance.
Demonstrators were seen marching by the thousands, crowding the streets of Sanaa and chanting the slogan “With Gaza’s Dignity… Mobilization and Alertness.”
Yemen frequently holds marches to express condemnation of the Israeli-led genocide in Gaza and praise the contributions of the Yemeni resistance in imposing a blockade on the Israeli regime.
In a declaration issued on the occasion of the march, demonstrators expressed their full support for the operations carried out by the Yemeni armed forces and the Ansar Allah movement and their engagement in confrontations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, calling for more operations to be undertaken.
The statement further declared “the continuation of mobilization and preparations for training and rehabilitation camps, with great momentum and high morale,” as well as “the graduation of tens of thousands of new fighters.”
Demonstrators also renewed their demand for “the opening of safe land corridors allowing them to reach and directly participate in the battle alongside the mujahideen in occupied Palestine.”
They hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and reiterated their support for the Palestinian resistance, while further expressing strong condemnation of the latest Israeli war crimes unveiled by mass graves discovered at Gaza’s hospitals.
They commended the ongoing operations led by resistance groups in occupied Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq, and called on the international community to boycott the US and “Israel”.
In the early hours of Friday, Yemenis poured into the streets in massive demonstrations in the provinces of Saada, Raymah, and Marib in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in support of the operations conducted by the Yemeni Armed Forces in support of Gaza under the slogan “With Gaza’s Dignity… Mobilization and Alertness.”
The demonstrations swept across more than 40 central and subsidiary squares in the mentioned provinces.
Yesterday, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, reiterated his assertion that “the solution lies in ending the genocide against the Palestinian people and lifting the siege imposed upon them,” noting that the prolonged aggression and blockade on Gaza “will have economic repercussions on the enemies.”
