An Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of the village of Chamaa in southern Lebanon has killed 4 people and injured several others, a Lebanese Ministry of Health reported on Thursday.
The ministry added that 5 Lebanese citizens were injured also as a result of the strike.
On Saturday, an Israeli Iron Dome interceptor missile landed on a football field in the Druze town of Majdal Shams, killing 12 people and injuring dozens.
“Israel” was quick to pin the blame on Hezbollah and claimed that the Lebanese group targeted the town with an “Iranian rocket,” allegations which Hezbollah has outwardly rejected.
Retaliation is inevitable
Moments ago, Secretary-General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah announced a new phase of confrontation with the Zionist regime, indicating an open battle on all fronts and stressing that stopping Israeli aggression on Gaza is essential to avoid further escalation.
He affirmed that Hezbollah would resume active operations by Friday and that any response to the assassination of Hajj Mohsein would be strategic and well-studied.
Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated that the resistance movement strengthens with the martyrdom of its leaders and warned that “Israel’s” actions have crossed significant red lines, promising a well-considered response from Hezbollah.
