The Israeli army announced on Tuesday morning that a soldier from the Basal Brigade was killed during clashes in northern Gaza.
The soldier, Sergeant Noam Yisrael Abdo, 20, from the 17th Battalion of the Basal Brigade, was killed in a battle in northern Gaza on Monday.
According to the army, Sergeant Abdo was a platoon commander in the 12th Battalion of the Golani Brigade.
The Israeli army also confirmed that two other soldiers were severely injured, one in the northern Gaza fighting and another in clashes in southern Lebanon.
Yesterday, the Israeli army reported the deaths of two soldiers in battles in southern Lebanon.
This brings the total number of Israeli military casualties to 730 soldiers and officers since October 7, 2023, including those whose names have been publicly released.
