Syrian Democratic Forces Dismantle ISIS Cell in Qamishli
In a decisive move against terrorism, the Syrian Democratic Forces’ (SDF) Counter-Terrorism Units (TOL) executed a security operation in the city of Qamishli on Saturday. The operation targeted and dismantled an ISIS terrorist cell that was planning to carry out terror attacks within the city.
Following thorough intelligence gathering and surveillance, SDF forces pinpointed the location of the cell. They then raided the hideout, capturing two members of the cell identified as Osama Mohammed Ahmed and Isa Mohammed Ahmed. These terrorists were plotting to execute bombings by planting explosives in both public and private spaces, aiming to sow chaos and confusion among the local populace.
The SDF has affirmed its commitment to relentlessly pursue and eradicate all remnants of the terrorist organization, ensuring safety and stability in the region.
