Chinese Startup Launches Innovative AI Video Creation Technology in Just 10 Seconds
A Chinese startup has unveiled an updated version of its video generation model, aiming to enhance AI
capabilities in visual content creation.
ShengShu Technology, based in Beijing, introduced its latest innovation, “Vidu 2.0”. According to
reports by Xinhua News Agency, Vidu 2.0 can generate a 4-second video clip at 512p resolution in just
10 seconds. Additionally, this tool can produce a one-minute video at a cost of only $0.33 (2.4 yuan).
Despite significant advancements in video generation quality, speed remains a primary challenge for
most models. Before the launch of Vidu 1.0, users typically had to wait hours to generate a single video.
With the global release of Vidu 1.0 in July 2024, the time needed to create a video was reduced to under
30 seconds, helping the tool to attract over 10 million users within just 100 days. To date, more than
100 million videos have been created using Vidu.
Vidu 2.0 represents a significant leap forward in AI-driven video creation, combining lightning-fast
processing with low costs, thereby opening new avenues for digital creativity.
