Former U.S. President and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel “would never have happened if I were president.”
Trump made the remarks during a gathering held at his Miami club, attended by hundreds of people honoring the victims of the attack, which occurred exactly a year ago.
“We can never forget the nightmare of that day,” Trump emphasized, adding that “the October 7 attack wouldn’t have happened if I were president.”
