Turkish Series Earn Over Half a Billion Dollars in International Revenue
The Turkish television series industry has significantly boosted its economic footprint, achieving over $500 million in export revenues in 2024, according to Anadolu Agency. This success is attributed to the export of more than 300 works to international markets.
Anadolu Agency reports that Turkish series are now exported to over 150 countries, with this number reaching up to 200 countries thanks to various digital platforms. Last year alone, the export earnings from these series surpassed the $500 million mark, reflecting the sale of over 300 productions.
Turkish series have garnered a massive following worldwide, particularly in regions like the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, Australia, and the United States. An estimated one billion people follow these shows globally, highlighting their extensive reach and cultural impact.
