And by 09:23 Moscow time, US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell by 0.66%, to $70.40 a barrel.
While Brent crude futures fell by 0.69% to $74.46 a barrel, according to Bloomberg agency data.
Yesterday, upon settlement, US crude futures fell by 2.3% to $70.87 a barrel, while Brent contracts fell by 1.9% to $74.98 a barrel.
