It was another night of relentless Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip, with civilians paying a heavy price.
In Rafah, an Israeli strike hit a residential tower without prior warning. At least nine people were killed in that attack. Emergency services officials are telling us they expect the death toll to rise as several people are still trapped under the rubble.
In al-Zawayda, an entire family comprising at least 18 people, including grandparents and grandchildren, was killed after an Israeli air strike hit the shelter they were in.
