The Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Hussein al-Sheikh condemned the ongoing Israeli aggression on the northern occupied West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.
He stressed the need for immediate and urgent action by the international community, to stop the series of crimes and aggression and protect the Palestinian people in the West Bank and stop the war in the Gaza Strip.
He also warned of the dire consequences of the occupation’s aggression in the West Bank, and its war on the Gaza Strip, which he stressed would increase the escalation and lead to the deterioration of the situation for which the occupation bears responsibility, calling on the United States to intervene urgently.
The Sheikh stressed that President Mahmoud Abbas has decided to cut his visit to Saudi Arabia short in light of the Israeli military operation against the Palestinian people in the northern West Bank camps.
He stressed that President Mahmoud Abbas is making intensive contacts to stop the aggression in the West Bank and Gaza. President Abbas has also given his instructions to all competent authorities to act immediately and address the needs of the Palestinian people, he added.
