The Golan Regional Council has issued an earthquake alert for northern Israel following a significant Israeli military operation targeting a complex in southern Lebanon, reportedly containing large quantities of explosives, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.
An Israeli military spokesperson confirmed that explosions were heard in northern Israel shortly after Israeli forces operated in southern Lebanon, clarifying that no security threat exists. According to Israeli military officials, an underground complex belonging to Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, which stored approximately 400 tons of explosives, was destroyed in the attack.
The Israeli army’s activities reportedly extended to the demolition of residential buildings and neighborhoods in the border town of Adaisseh in southern Lebanon, with explosions continuing into the early morning hours. The explosions and resulting tremors were felt across large areas of southern Lebanon.
