People Killed and Injured in Deir ezor Explosion in Syria
On Monday evening, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that several people were killed and injured in an explosion in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor province, located in eastern Syria.
According to SANA, the explosion in the Deir ez-Zor countryside claimed the lives of three individuals and left 20 others injured. The agency detailed that Syrian Civil Defense teams recovered the victims’ bodies, transported the wounded to safety, and extinguished a fire caused by the blast. The fire had spread to a fuel sales center at the site.
SANA further noted that the cause of the explosion remains unknown at this time.
