Kuwait-Microsoft AI Partnership: A Strategic Step Forward
The Kuwaiti Cabinet announced that, during its Tuesday meeting, it reviewed a visual presentation by the Minister of State for Communications, Omar Saud Al-Omar, regarding a strategic partnership agreement between the Kuwaiti government and Microsoft.
According to the Cabinet’s statement, the agreement includes the establishment of several key centers, most notably a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Center.
The Kuwait-Microsoft AI partnership also encompasses the creation of a Cloud Computing Excellence Center. Additionally, it introduces a comprehensive training initiative aimed at equipping national talent with essential AI skills, preparing them for future job market demands.
The Minister of State for Communications is scheduled to hold a press conference on Wednesday to discuss the signing of this strategic agreement with Microsoft, in collaboration with the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority.
